Not A Typical Teenager: No Screens

No Screens

In this day and age with all of this up-and-coming technology, we are always being told to look up from our screens and actually experience life. To stop filming concerts and start watching them.

So, the other day, there was a solar eclipse. Now, it happened during the time when I was in school. This meant that your teacher had to take you out of class to see this solar eclipse. Now every opther class in our year group went out to see it.

Except for the geography classes.

Our geography teacher decided instead to put up a live stream of the eclipse on the whiteboard. We were watching something that was going on outside, that we could have seen for ourselves, on a screen in our geography classes.

Stop telling us to get off our screens, when you put them in front of our face to view a natural event that is happening on our doorstep.

Stay Un-Typical
